Cold Rolled (CR)

Cold rolled steel is essentially hot rolled steel that has been re-rolled at room temperature to achieve more precise dimensions and better surface finish. Technically, "cold rolled" only applies to sheets that have been compressed between rollers. Cold rolled steel is generally characterized by a more finished surface with closer tolerances. They are widely used in construction parts, production machinery, metal furniture and appliances, automotive industry, manufacturing industry, etc.
